Caroline is really doing well. She is now acting like a newborn- and being awake at night to prove it : )
Although it's been hard, I'm thankful that she has "found her voice" and has the strength to cry instead of having to conserve all of her energy for surviving. She is our little fighter and I have no doubt that she is and will be a strong and brave little girl.
God has been taking care of her (and us) in every way. Caroline weighed 6 lb and 10 oz last Tuesday and I'm sure she's more at this point! Hopefully I will find out next Wednesday how much she weighs.
I'm thankful for the night-time feedings when I get to spend some time in prayer- for her and us and my family and friends. God is slowly teaching me to trust in Him. Unfortunately, I'm a slow learner. I was just commenting that He has given me enough reasons to learn patience, I'm just waiting to receive it!
Phillipians 4:4-9

Let your gentle and patient spirit be evident to all...don't be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, let your requests be made known to God then the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
