Caroline is now 7 pounds and 12 ounces as of yesterday. She's getting bigger and bigger! She has gained an averag of 9 oz over the past 3 weeks which is doing really well. She's now the same size as her cousin Leah who was born today : ) Despite her tiny size, she is definitely developing. She is now lifting her head, tracking with sound, and beginning to track with her eyes. She'll be making eye contact before you know it and mom can hardly wait!
There will be more pictures to come soon as soon as I figure out how to get my camera to take pictures without being blurry!
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior, because He has looked with favor on the humble condition of His slave. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed, because the Mighty One has done great things for me, and His name is holy." Luke 1:46-49

1 month old (and due tomorrow)
Caroline is really doing well. She is now acting like a newborn- and being awake at night to prove it : )
Although it's been hard, I'm thankful that she has "found her voice" and has the strength to cry instead of having to conserve all of her energy for surviving. She is our little fighter and I have no doubt that she is and will be a strong and brave little girl.
God has been taking care of her (and us) in every way. Caroline weighed 6 lb and 10 oz last Tuesday and I'm sure she's more at this point! Hopefully I will find out next Wednesday how much she weighs.
I'm thankful for the night-time feedings when I get to spend some time in prayer- for her and us and my family and friends. God is slowly teaching me to trust in Him. Unfortunately, I'm a slow learner. I was just commenting that He has given me enough reasons to learn patience, I'm just waiting to receive it!
Phillipians 4:4-9
"Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Let your gentle and patient spirit be evident to all...don't be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, let your requests be made known to God then the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
