Sleeping....or Faking

Caroline has started doing one of the funniest things. Sometimes she needs a "reminder" to go to sleep. After we put her to bed, we can hear her jabbering and shaking her crib, playing with her stuffed animal. So, we go up to her room to tell her its "night night time". When we open her door to her room, she dives back down and plays possum- its the most dramatic, funniest thing you've ever seen. Maybe I should lean more toward Audrey Hepburn....

Our Little Diva - part 2

So, is she Amelia Earheart or Audrey Hepburn? Regardless, this girl is destined for something big!

I'm going for Amelia Earhart..... you know, the flying and everything. : )

Our Little Diva

Beautiful girl- I might be biased but I just can't help myself!

Another one of our new favorite things is sunglasses- she will sometimes leave them on for 30 minutes at a time and then of course we'll have to play peek-a-boo with them. Glasses on: "Where'd Brixey go?" Glasses off: "There she is!" (direct quotes from Caroline)

So, Brandon thinks I'm crazy when I get ideas like this and I probably am because they never turn out the way that I have in mind- this is a great example! Finger painting turned out to be eating the excessively dyed plain yogurt that Mama thought Caroline would be fooled that it wasn't food....oh well!

Surfin' USA!!!

This is Caroline's new favorite past time- anything she can put her two feet on, climb on, crawl on, wiggle up to- well, she'll stand on it! And she's always so proud of herself, you can't help but clap for her when she claps so proudly for herself.

The Thinker

My little thinker- I think she'll be a scholar one day, maybe a little like her daddy :)

And don't forget her baby- she loves her babies. It must be engrained into little girls because we didn't teach her this. She feeds her, tries to change her diaper, and puts her to "night night" where she pats her bottom and says "sshh, sshh, sshh!"

Words can't describe this happiness...

And her favorite thing to show off---belly button!!!

Growing, Learning, Talking, Running

Although we didn't get near as much as our friends in KC, thought I'd share some pictures of our fun in the snow.

The snow was not so easy to walk in but we had fun anyway- making snow angels. It lasted for about 20 minutes, and that was all Brixey could handle!

Maverick also enjoyed being out in the snow- he really misses his runs with me- hoping and praying I'll get back to it someday, I miss it!

For those of you who can't see, those are socks on her hands- they worked pretty well, I must say!

Words, Words, Words

Brixey is getting bigger and bigger all the time- she runs everywhere that she goes, she laughs easily and she has so much to say! Some of her favorite phrases are:

• Of course- Momma, Dadda
• Where'd it go? There it is! (the wonderful game of peek-a-boo)
• Shh! (we really enjoy hiding from daddy)
• Here you go! (I didn't realize how often I said this)

And so many other words, its amazing! apple, banana, orange, horse, dog, cat, fish....
